Get dolled up, grab your sweetheart and join these gals as they work to send love to hospitalized Veterans with a Socially Distant Drive-In Vintage Variety & Burlesque Show titled Drive-Up, Pin-Up’s! It will be a good time for a great cause, all from your cars this Valentines Day Weekend. Thanks to their partnership with Harry Mohney’s Erotic Heritage Museum located on Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, the group will recreate the bawdy fun of vaudevillian theaters so popular across America during and post-WWII, all from the art museums parking lot.
Guests can expect to feel the love in the air as they become wrapped up in the magic of the Hollywood Canteen that operated during the 1940’s as a club offering dancing, drinks and entertainment for service members, usually on their way overseas. The evening will feature the Swing It! Girls, dancing showgirls, comedy, variety acts, soulful lounge singers, vintage tray girls and more than a few surprises. With entertainment & atmosphere around every turn, guests will feel like they DROVE into another era.
